Bugatti sends a trio of Bolides to have some fun on a frozen lake

Three Bugatti Bolides hit the frozen surface of Lake St. Moritz in Switzerland accompanied by an iconic EB110 from the 1990s, multiple ultra-rare Veyrons and a couple of Rimac Nevera EVs.

For context, the Bolide is based on the Bugatti Chiron and its 8.0-liter, quad-turbo W16 engine rated at 1,600 PS (1,578 hp / 1,177 kW). It zaps 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 2.2 seconds and can reach 380 km/h (236 mph) in a straight line. Compared to its donor, it features a completely different, racecar-style exterior and is limited to just 40 production units.

In the video posted by Bugatti, three out of these 40 Bolides happily rip up the icy crust of St. Moritz in the company of Veyron-based exotics known as Rembrandt Bugatti Grand Sport Vitesse, Meo Costantini, and Grand Sport Vitesse Soleil de Nuit. Later on, they are also joined by the French hypercar maker’s vintage models Type 13, Type 35 and Type 37A.

Bugatti-Rimac CEO Mate Rimac personally attended the Bolide test drive in his EB110 and brought along a pair of all-electric Rimac Nevera coupes packing 1,914 PS (1,888 hp / 1,408 kW) each.
