Kevin Hart shows off his blacked-out Chevy Camaro classic

It looks like we have some bad news for you today. Or, more specifically, Bad News – this is what actor and comedian Kevin Hart lovingly calls his 1969 Chevrolet Camaro.

The car rolled off the assembly line 52 years ago and was first modded around ten years ago, even before Hart discovered it for himself. When he did, he handed it over to Timeless Kustoms for some restoration and modernization.

The tuner swapped the stock engine for a 6.2-liter LS7 V8 with new cylinder heads, forged components, and dual 68mm (2.66-inch) turbos. As a result, the car was able to hit the dyno with 659 PS (650 hp / 485 kW) and 921 Nm (679 lb-ft) through its rear wheels, despite only running a low boost pressure of 8 psi.

Technical upgrades elsewhere included a Tremec six-speed stick shift, suspension components borrowed from a more recent Corvette, custom wheels, and Brembo brakes. The exterior was murdered out to justify the moniker ‘Bad News’.

Plenty of luxury can be found in the cabin, where soft brown leather interspersed with black accents covers all surfaces, the gear lever is made of aluminum, and a reduced roll cage replaces the rear bench.
