Chrysler Pacifica morphs into a hyper-van nicknamed Baba Yaga

U.S.-based tuning company SpeedKore has announced a new project that strikes us as weird in multiple ways. First, it is called ‘Baba Yaga’. Second, it is an all-carbon car with over 1,500 horsepower (1,100 kilowatts) under the hood. Most importantly, it is a Chrysler Pacifica (like the example in the video).

Judging by the sketches published by the tuners, the MPV will get generous fender flares, new side sills, an aggressive bumper, a special radiator grille, revised lighting all around and a custom exhaust system. Responsible for the design is none other than Abimelec Arelliano, a well-known 3D artist and designer.

Some technical details are no longer a secret, either. The car uses a 6.2-liter supercharged V8 SRT Hellcat engine normally installed in the Dodge Challenger Demon car series where it outputs 852 PS (840 hp / 627 kW). Once upgraded with a tuning kit so far known only by its sinister name – Lilith Package – it is expected to start pumping out 1,535 PS (1,514 hp / 1,129 kW).

The engine will be mated with an eight-speed automatic transmission. Whether AWD will be implemented remains open, though. Thanks to the extensive use of carbon-fiber parts and passenger seat removal, the MPV is expected to shed around 450 kilos (1,000 pounds) compared to stock. The end result is envisioned as a pure track tool.

SpeedKore has given no comment on the name of the build so far. We will hopefully see it live at the nearest SEMA show.
