dÄHLer-tuned BMW M2 outperforms the M2 CS

Swiss aftermarket company dÄHLer has unveiled its latest tune-up plan for the BMW M2 (G87). It involves upping the output to 638 PS (629 hp / 469 kW), upgrading the suspension for track day use and revamping the interior.

Starting with the 3.0-liter inline-six under the hood, the boost makes it produce 100 PS (99 hp / 74 kW) and 130 Nm (96 lb-ft) of torque more than the range-topping M2 CS. Furthermore, the car is no longer capped at 250 km/h (155 mph) and can hit 300+ km/h (186+ mph), according to the tuner. Both manual and automatic versions are eligible for the tuning, and the results are tested for emission conformity in the EU.

To have something to show for all the modifications under the hood, the M2 gets an all-carbon body kit featuring a three-piece front spoiler lip. It also switches to 21-inch CDC2 Forged wheels and benefits from a sportier stance (–28 mm/–1.1” at the front and –20 mm/–0.8” at the rear end).

It’s not all about the stance this time around, either. Track day coilovers let you adjust things like ride height, compression and rebound dynamically based on speed. The interior looks only slightly redone with an Alcantara-wrapped steering wheel, a short-throw gear lever (manual only) and branded mats.

You can already make an order on the tuner’s website, where it is listed as the DCL dÄHLer Competition Line. The price isn’t mentioned, but it should be a fair bit below the €115,000 of a fully loaded M2 CS.
