2025 Exeed TXL bows in China with two high-end trims to choose from

Chery’s Exeed sub-brand has refreshed its TXL crossover for the Chinese domestic market, introducing it in Prestige and Flagship trims first. Both come loaded with connected services designed to improve navigation and overall driving experience.

Both versions now support remote control via a dedicated phone app. Drivers can pre-heat the engine, open or close the tailgate and adjust climate control directly from their smartphones. The app can also pinpoint the location of the car on the map and plot routes using real-time information about any obstructions on the way.

Those opting for the Prestige spec get 19-inch wheels, an eco-leather interior, a driver’s seat with six-way adjustments, a 16-speaker audio system and surround-view cameras. This version of the TXL relies on its usual 1.6-liter turbo engine to send 197 PS (194 hp / 145 kW) to the wheels along with 275 Nm (203 lb-ft) of torque. The transmission is seven-speed DCT, and AWD comes included as standard.

The Flagship spec adds even more driver’s seat adjustments, an air ionizer, ambient lighting and a superior 23-speaker audio setup. It also boasts 20-inch wheels and a larger number of assist features, such as self-parking. Power comes from a 2.0-liter engine rated at 200 PS (197 hp / 147 kW) and 375 Nm (277 lb-ft) of torque in tandem with an eight-speed automatic transmission.

Both Exeed TXL trims are already available for ordering in China, and will soon go on sale in the other regions where this model is present.
