German motorhome manufacturer Knaus has unveiled the 2020 Boxstar 600 XL Street and Lifestyle, a duo of campervans built upon the Fiat Ducato chassis and mostly identical except for small details.
Buying a fully-blown campervan is infamously expensive, so Knaus suggests renting it instead. What do you get for your money?
Plenty, it seems! There is a spacious bedroom for four on the improvised second floor of the van, a shower cabin, a WC, a kitchenette, a sitting room for four, and about 600 kilograms (1,300+ lbs) of carrying capacity with all the occupants already inside the van.
Further features of the Knaus Boxstar 600 XL Street and Lifestyle include a TV set that you can easily slide up and down between the sitting room and the bedroom, a fridge 70 or 90 liters large, a gas oven, and a gas-based central heating system.
