The Fisker vehicle lineup will eventually expand to incorporate an all-electric pickup truck, company CEO and founder Henrik Fisker said in an interview to Auto Express. The battery ride will allegedly handle ‘like Ferrari itself designed it’.
It is assumed that the new car will share its underpinnings with the Ocean SUV, which you can see in the rest of the gallery and the video below. The Ocean is Fisker’s only car in actual production so far. It will inherit its unitized body design and get a four-door, five-seat cabin along with a rather short cargo bed (around 4.5 feet, or 1,370 millimeters, long).
The EV will come loaded with features improving its overall utility, such as a hatch at the rear end of the cabin. The manufacturer says recycled materials will be actively used in the production, resulting in a truck that will be the eco-friendliest in its class when it goes on sale.
Back in February 2020, Henrik Fisker published a single sketch of a pickup truck named Alaska – this will likely be its production name, too. According to Auto Express, the premiere may take place soon, however, the actual sales probably won’t begin until at least 2025.
