Licensed replica of iconic Ford Mustang Eleanor heading to action in November

A custom 1967 Ford Mustang styled to resemble the legendary Eleanor from the movie ‘Gone in 60 Seconds’ (see video) will go under the hammer next month.

The car is not unique: after the movie’s premiere in 2000, car fans from all over the world convinced the rights holder to launch production of Eleanor replicas. Aside from Gone in 60 Seconds LLC, which currently holds the rights to the Eleanor trademark, there are numerous unofficial replicas around as well.

The company offers anyone interested to bring their own car for the conversion or otherwise pay for a suitable example to be located and transformed. The engine output range starts at 435 PS (430 hp / 320 kW) and goes all the way up to 1,014 PS (1,012 hp / 746 kW), so how much muscle you get is only determined by the size of your wallet. The transmission can be four-, five- or six-speed manual or automatic. Necessary suspension and brake upgrades are already included in the base cost.

The particular example shown here packs a 7.0-liter V8 linked to a four-speed manual gearbox with a red nitro boost button visible on the lever. The seller warns that the nitrous oxide system on board is disabled. The interior is illuminated by LEDs and comes equipped with a Bluetooth-capable audio system.
