Automotive electrification is a phenomenon that’s starting to permeate the realms of art and entertainment now: the GMC Hummer EV truck will officially star in two upcoming video games from the Call of Duty series.
“The GMC Hummer EV Pickup is truly the world’s first all-electric supertruck. Now, it is entering the gaming world where it will define a new chapter of capability and bring players together across the globe," commented Duncan Aldred, Sales VP of Buick-GMC.
The first game in which the heavyweight electric truck will appear is Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II, debuting on October 28, 2022. According to Aldred, players will be able to drive it to explore the entire game world this fall. Later on, the same EV will sneak into Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0.
