Back in 2018, Honda put a commercial microvan in a Kei car body with the release of the N-Van. Coming in at 3,395 mm (133 inches) long, the work pony nevertheless lends itself well to all kinds of uses, including RV. It has now become official that an electric version of it will arrive in 2024.
The automaker promises 200 km (124 miles) of driving range, which it considers enough for city use. At any rate, squeezing a larger battery into a wheelbase as small as this would be nearly impossible.
The good news for all buyers in Japan is that the price will be exceptionally low at a rough equivalent of 7,300 USD. The latest all-electric Kei cars introduced by Nissan and Mitsubishi cost at least twice as much.
