Japanese tuner DAMD has many tantalizingly affordable styling kits for cars in its portfolio, and the latest one – Isolator – targets the Honda Freed minivan with late ’70s charms.
The front end of the MPV looks drastically different thanks to a new bumper, hood and fenders. All three are fabricated from composite materials and are supposed to be accompanied by retro-style round headlamps. The turn indicators at the sides are also new, while everything else remains stock.
The whole package can be ordered from Japan for the equivalent of U.S. $2,100. Shipping, installation and painting are not included. The cheap-looking stamped wheels and the lights seen in the gallery here are also separate purchases. On the upside, the styling kit is said to be fully compatible with the Crosstar blackout package.
