With all the restoration shops around, buying a custom Jaguar retro car should be trivial, even if you settle for an electric version. Just be sure to check out the freshly unveiled E-Type Unleashed by E-Type UK – it could very well be the best out there.
A Mk3 E-Type pictured here relies on a powerful Jaguar-sourced V12 to propel itself forward. Its age and specific model remain undisclosed, just like the age of the donor car itself. The company began producing such twelve-cylinders in 1971, by the way, so both could be about half a century old.
Aside from having been bored out from 5.3 to 6.1 liters of displacement, the engine features a host of modern components and now delivers up to 406 PS (400 hp / 300 kW) to the wheels instead of 276 PS (272 hp / 203 kW). A five-speed manual transmission sends the momentum to the rear wheels.
Other noteworthy features include LED lights all around, a new radiator grille, 16-inch wheels, and a cabin wrapped in the finest leather.
Captivated? Set aside £235,000 for a conversion like this one and start looking for a suitable donor car, then.
