There is no denying that the Lamborghini Aventador SV is an extremely capable sports car going 0-60 mph in 2.9 seconds, but can it compare favorably against the Ferrari 488 Pista Piloti and the latest Porsche 911 Turbo S (992)?
Note that the former isn’t just any 488 Pista, either. The Piloti series is reserved exclusively for professional racing drivers and packs a twin-turbo 3.9-liter V8 rated at 720 PS (710 hp / 530 kW) and 770 Nm (568 lb-ft) of torque.
Powering the Porsche is a rebuilt engine rated at 800 PS (789 hp / 588 kW), a major improvement over the stock 650 PS (641 hp / 478 kW). Just like the Lambo, the 911 benefits from an AWD system.
Watch the video and see how the trio fared in all three tests. As you have probably figured out by now, the Aventador did not shine this time around despite its 750-PS (740-hp / 552-kW) engine.
