A 2014 Lamborghini Gallardo with over 30,000 km (18,600 miles) under its belt just fetched its seller $240,000 in the United States, surpassing the starting price of the Huracan EVO RWD.
Rarity is the reason for the high price. The LP560-2 50th Anniversario model, which you can see in the video here, was offered in 90 units worldwide and only 25 in the USA. It was also one of the Italian marque’s last production cars with manual transmission.
A 5.2-liter V10 churns out a touch more than 550 PS (542 hp / 404 kW) to the rear wheels. The car sports a Superleggera carbon-fiber rear wing, an engine bay window, a front suspension lift system, and an unusually shaped rear diffuser. Interior niceties include Alcantara upholstery, reversing cameras, and satellite navigation.
One of the former owners had the coupe wrapped in a vinyl wrap and upgraded with a Rev9 exhaust system, although he kept the OEM muffler around just in case. The seller bought it last year and had only driven it for 500 kilometers (310 miles) prior to selling.
