Lamborghini has attended a recent special event in Sardinia with another bespoke vehicle from its Opera Unica lineup. It was a Revuelto flagship featuring a unique exterior finish and a particularly deluxe interior trim. Several professionals had spent 475 hours applying the paint layer after layer using multiple tools and methods.
By alternating the use of brushes and spatulas, the artists succeeded in creating a particularly deep shade of blue evoking associations with marine depths. Lamborghini says that sea waves splashing against rocks were the main inspiration for the color. Black accents and carbon-fiber inserts helped create some extra contrast.
Another 85 hours went into producing the toolset necessary for the embroidery in the cabin. The stitching all around looks like paint strokes, with Lamborghini likening it to seawater and foam glistening in the sun. More rich blue hues can be found on the details in the cabin, such as the engine start button.
The company never revealed how much the one-off commission cost.
