The next generation of the Range Rover Sport SVR has not arrived yet, but the current one is nothing if not powerful and dynamic enough, as evidenced by this video from AutoTopNL.
For starters, let us point out that the SVR specification comes with a five-liter V8 boosted to 575 PS (567 hp / 423 kW) and 700 Nm (516 lb-ft) of torque. An eight-speed automatic transmission drives all four wheels, doing much to offset the off-roader’s three metric tons (~6,600 lbs) of weight.
The video shows the SVR accelerating effortlessly to 200 km/h (124 mph) and above, only slowing down somewhat after 250 km/h (155 mph). It then proceeds to max out at 274 km/h (170 mph), just a little below the manufacturer-rated top speed of 283 km/h (175.8 mph).
