Barely used Maybach armored car crops up on sale in Russia

This Maybach 62S is the country’s most expensive Maybach on sale right now with an asking price of 40 million Rubles (~433,300 USD), but it has two undisputable advantages going for it: low mileage and solid armor plating.

The sedan only has 5,700 km (3,542 miles) under its belt and corresponds to the B7 armoring standard. This means it is immune to automatic gunfire and up to 7.62mm caliber rifle file. The seller does not specify whether it was an in-house modification or a third-party conversion.

The car has two separate seats with footrests in the back row, phones, a fridge, and folding tables.

Powering the armored ride is a six-liter V12 churning out 612 PS (603 hp / 450 kW) and 1,000 Nm (738 lb-ft) of torque. In its stock version (see video), the 62S needed 5.2 seconds to reach 100 km/h (62 mph) and maxed out at 250 km/h (155 mph). The armored variant must be slower on the uptake, but the details are unknown.
