Special McLaren 750S celebrates a Le Mans victory of the past

The 750S Le Mans Edition is coming in a series of 50 units dedicated to the triumph of the McLaren F1 GTR at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1995.

Every car gets a special body kit called the High Downforce Kit. Designed by MSO, it is said to increase the downforce by up to 10% compared to the original. It comprises a larger front spoiler, a roof scoop and a redesigned rear end. Other than that, the only mechanical change comes in the form of heavy-duty brakes.

Customers will be choosing from two exterior finishes – dark grey and orange. Retro-style wheels and gold-tinted brake calipers are also listed as standard, while a commemorative “LM” badge is optional.

The 750S joined the McLaren lineup two years ago (see video). It comes equipped with a 4.0-liter V8 boosted to 750 PS (740 hp / 552 kW) and 800 Nm (590 lb-ft) of torque. Sprinting from zero to 100 km/h (62 mph) is a matter of 2.8 seconds.
