In this vid by Carwow, an older Mercedes-AMG GT 63 goes up against an AMG EQS 53 in a showdown of two generations.
The AMG GT 6.3 utilizes a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 and a rear-mounted electric motor to drive the wheels with 843 PS (831 hp / 620 kW) and 1,400 Nm (1,044 lb-ft) of torque. The EQS 53 pales in comparison with its 761 PS (750 hp / 560 kW) and 1,020 Nm (752 lb-ft).
You may think the ICE car has the advantage, but let’s not forget the crazy instant torque all high-end EVs are famous for. That said, the EQS is also heavier than the AMG GT 63 due to the electric powertrain and battery.
