Clients from different countries have commissioned unique and luxurious Mercedes G-Class conversions from Carlex Design under the Polish tuner’s “One of One” program. Each took a year and a half to deliver; here are the most recent three.
The G-Falcon celebrates the rich falcon hunt history of the United Arab Emirates and features an image of a falcon on the roof. It glints brightly in sunlight and amazes with the sheer level of detail present in all of its hand-engraved artworks. Inside, reddish-brown leather is interspersed with black Alcantara for a fusion between the retro and the modern. The door panels and the console boast sophisticated trims with added niches and more engravings.
The second entry is known as the G-Class Nuri and draws its inspiration from the rich culture of Uzbekistan. It wears Uzebekistani ornaments on the top and a very special shade of greenish blue on the body that includes fine particles of genuine sapphire gemstones. The interior carries on with the blue and white theme, using leather as the main trimming material with golden accents throughout.
Rounding off the impressive trio is Yellow Dragon, which – as you can guess – draws upon the popular Chinese legend by the same name. Treated as a symbol of prosperity, success, power and physical strength, the mythical serpent adorns the roof of the third G-Wagon.
There has been no mention of the pricing.
