A low-mileage, exclusive 2009 Mercedes-Benz SL 65 AMG Black Series will go under the hammer in London, UK in early November. RM Sotheby’s expects it to go for up to £325,000.
The Black Series is considered one of the most capable and hardcore Mercedes-Benz SL versions around. Only 350 vehicles like this were made, and this particular example has only 1,343 km (834 miles) on the odometer. Compared to the stock SL 65 AMG, it has new bodywork and aero kit.
Power comes from a six-liter V12 upgraded to deliver 670 PS (661 hp / 493 kW) and 1,000 Nm (738 lb-ft) of torque. A five-speed automatic transmission carries the torque to the wheels, letting the supercar hit 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.8 seconds.
The title lists two owners since production, with the first owner holding onto the car for 10 years.
