The MG Cyber GTS is a show car with production prospects

MG has unveiled a concept named the Cyber GTS at the ongoing Goodwood event. It may reach the market in 2025.

On the outside, the new sports car looks largely identical to the MG Cyberster, but trades the retractable soft top for a fixed roof. A maxed-out Cyberster has 544 PS (536 hp / 400 kW), 725 Nm (535 lb-ft) of torque and can accelerate from zero to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.2 seconds. Its dual motors put some considerable strain on the battery, though, draining it dry after 580 km (360 miles) of CLTC-rated range.

AutoExpress reports that MG plans to launch the Cyber GTS into production next year, celebrating 60 years of the iconic MGB GT. Unlike the Cyberster, it will allegedly have four seats in the cabin. Then again, the Chinese company is still gathering feedback from the interested customers to see if the production can be made viable.
