In the meantime, we only have these two teasers to go by, showing the rear end of the vehicle from the outside and the inside. It is a well-rounded living capsule with a spacious bed for two adults. In all likelihood, sleeping in the car like this will require folding down the seats, but the space seems cozy enough. LED lighting is used for illumination throughout.
The other photo provides a glimpse of a LED brake light strip at the back, plastic fender flares and what looks like a metal structure suspended under the rear overhang. Its exact purpose is unknown.
Both images are accompanied by geographic coordinates pointing to the exhibition center in Tokyo, Japan where the annual Mobility Show is set to open for the media on October 29, 2025.
Mitsubishi says that the conceptual camper will be an electrified and highly customizable vehicle that potential owners would be able to adjust to their individual needs and habits. This sounds like we could be getting multiple interior layout variants for those whose idea of an off-road adventure is a simple weekend picnic and those who are serious about taking their SUV to a multi-week expedition.
