Nissan’s latest video teaser is dedicated to the flagship version of its Z coupe designed by Nismo and manages to reveal plenty about its exterior and cabin. The tech specs and the availability date remain to be announced.
In the video, the sports car is shown drifting along a closed circuit. Even in motion, you can see the numerous upgrades over the stock version. These start with an extended body kit including a large front splitter, a slightly more pronounced spoiler, a different rear bumper and red color accents all around.
Inside, the main highlight comes in the form of Recaro seats featuring enhanced lateral support. The digital gauge skins are also different, and the steering wheel rim has a zero-hour mark.
What remains unsaid is whether the engine has been modified. The likelier scenario is that Nismo concentrated its main effort on tuning the suspension. As for the engine bay, it looks stock in the brief moment that it appears on screen. The tachometer redline is still at 7,000 RPM, too.
The top-of-the-line Nissan Z coupe is expected to premiere before the end of the summer.
