The Opel Combo-e Life is an all-electric MPV

The battery minivans Citroën ë-Berlingo (see video), Opel Combo-e and Peugeot e-Partner debuted last month and will go on sale in the fall in LCV and MPV variants. Today, Opel has revealed the passenger carrier version called the Combo e-Life.

The car has identical tech to its commercial counterpart, which means it has a single electric motor rated at 136 PS (134 hp / 100 kW) and 260 Nm (192 lb-ft) of torque. It needs 11.2 seconds to reach 100 km/h (62 mph) and maxes out at 130 km/h (81 mph).

A 50-kWh lithium-ion battery sits between the axles and yields up to 280 km (174 miles) of range, as opposed to the 275 km (171 miles) of the LCV. The shipment includes a single-phase 7.4kW charger, but you can opt for a more expensive 11kW option. A full charging cycle lasts between 5.5 and 15 hours, but you can plug into a high-power 100kW terminal and go 0-80% in 30 minutes.

Options include digital dashboard, reversing camera, myOpel app for accessing certain in-car functions, pedestrian-aware AEB, blind zone monitoring, lane control, traffic sign reading, IntelliGrip traction control with 3 modes, and an 8-inch infotainment display with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support.
