Pagani sends off Zonda with a final example that took 12 years to build

A very special Pagani Zonda will grace the Monterey Car Week (California, USA) with its presence on August 16, 2024. Dubbed the Arrivederci – which is Italian for “farewell” – it is the 140th and final example of the hypercar ever to be made.

Kris Singh, a U.S.-based luxury vehicle collector known online as @lamborghiniks, has personally confirmed this report. He added that he ordered his black ride in naked carbon over 12 years ago and had to wait more than a decade for to be completed. Carscoops adds that it was apparently finished in 2023, but never shown to the public before.

The Zonda (see video) officially went out of production in 2011. Horatio Pagani himself supervised the creation of the 25th and final Zonda F Roadster. However, the company then proceeded to deliver custom cars based on the Zonda chassis and even invited the owners to hand their examples in for some individualization and tuning. This is why we have seen multiple new Zondas appear on the streets throughout the years.

Judging by the official photos seen here, the Arrivederci has more to it than just a carbon body and bespoke cabin. Among other things, it wears an exotic rear wing reminiscent of that of the Zonda JC and rides on wheels partially inspired by the Huayra BC.

Nothing has been revealed about the powertrain so far. Like most one-off Zondas, this one may have shipped with a 7.3-liter, naturally aspirated Mercedes-AMG V12 under the hood. If so, then it must send around 760 PS (750 hp / 560 kW) and 780 Nm (575 lb-ft) of torque to the wheels.
