Ram Rampage eyeing the U.S. market

The small Rampage pickup is currently being made in Brazil and sold exclusively in Latin America, but it looks like Ram wants to bring it to the United States.

The patent image seen here has been formally submitted to the U.S. Patent Office. It is a sketch of the Rampage truck running on its Small Wide 4x4 platform with a transverse engine and a full-fledged frame. As such, it comes closest to the Jeep Compass in its market niche.

The company has yet to supply any details, but Stellantis Group – which Ram is a part of – had mentioned on multiple occasions that it wanted a small pickup in its U.S. portfolio. Chances are good that it gets announced soon.
