The elderly Renault Kadjar is in desperate need of refreshing, and the company knows it, too. After testing the second-gen CUV in colder climes, Renault has now brought it to Sweden, where the weather has been hot lately.
The next iteration of the crossover SUV gets a sportier overall styling with shorter overhangs and a LED ensemble at the front similar to that of the Megane eVision Concept. Certain traits make us think Nissan Qashqai/Rogue Sport, which is unsurprising since the two models share the chassis and tech.
Assuming that the powertrains are also the same, the new Kadjar may ship with mild and plug-in hybrid options, as well as an all-electric version later on. A 1.3-liter gasoline turbo might become the new base spec, and the diesel version should no longer be available.
