The Roll-Royce Ghost Black Badge has just ramped up its exclusivity value even further thanks to a do-over by the manufacturer’s Bespoke division. The new collection is named Ekleipsis Private and is capped at 25 units, which have already found buyers.
The body of the car is dark with Mandarin accents, imitating impulses of sunlight during a solar eclipse. The dashboard has 1,846 stars engraved on it with a laser.
When the doors of the car swing open, the interior plays back a complex solar eclipse animation in the form of a light show around 7 minutes 30 seconds long. The British luxury automaker says it took a whole year to design this feature.
Things stay stock under the hood, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing when it means a 6.75-liter V12 steadily pumping out 600 PS (592 hp / 441 kW).
