Ford’s final GT spotted outdoors with a huge roof scoop

Ford will be discontinuing the GT model next year, but before that happens, one ultimate edition is set to go on sale with the best tech available. A image captured on a public road earlier today seems to feature exactly that car.

The white test vehicle went camo-free and had what looked like the final production body, so the launch could be right around the corner now. Note the massive roof scoop previously seen on the track-only GT Mk II supercar.

Elsewhere, we would expect the Final Edition GT to come with a body graphics by Ford GT Studio. This example has none to show, but maybe it will be applied later on.

Earlier rumors claimed the last GT would ship with a mildly upgraded EcoBoost 3.5 twin-turbo. No official numbers have been provided to date, but the GT Mk II extracts 709 PS (700 hp / 522 kW) from a modified version of the same engine, so this one should be similar.
