Tomorrow, on September 2, Subaru will be introducing a next entry in its Wilderness vehicle lineup. Everyone figured out from the start that it would be a Forester, and the images that leaked online today prove it.
The new Forester Wilderness sports a plethora of upgrades that should make it feel more at ease in challenging off-road conditions. These include body protection, black 17-inch wheels shod in all-terrain tires, a raised ground clearance thanks to suspension improvements, and skid plates. The roof also boasts rails for carrying additional baggage.
Apparently, the car comes with updated CVT and transfer case, but holds on to its usual 2.5-liter four-cylinder rated at 184 PS (181 hp / 135 kW) and 239 Nm (176 lb-ft) of torque.
