Now that the hype around Elon Musk’s controversial electric pickup has faded, owners are finding themselves forced to invent new ways to get noticed. Luxury wheel vendor Forgiato has them covered with numerous gaudy wheel options to choose from, like the one pictured here.
The matte-white wheels with large hubcaps look like they belong on a Rolls-Royce or possibly a Maybach, but nonetheless suit the body truck pretty well. They sport the company’s logos on the hubcaps and conceal body-matching brake calipers, or so we’re told – the calipers are hard to see behind those tiny spokes.
Complementing the new footwear is a widebody kit that includes grotesquely flared wheel arches, a rather in-your-face front spoiler and an equally geometric rear diffuser. There’s even a rear wing, although it’s unlikely to do much to the electric machine’s aerodynamics. A matte white vinyl wrap and blacked-out lighting at both ends wrap up the styling effort.
