The GAC-Toyota joint enterprise has launched the bZ7 saloon on its domestic market of China, pricing it from 147,800 CNY (U.S. $21,400) for the first few weeks.
The vehicle is 5,130 mm (200.4 inches) long with 3,020 mm (118 inches) between the axles. Depending on the trim level, it can ship with a Momenta ADAS package comprising 27 total sensors, adaptive air suspension, advanced climate control and the Huawei Digital Cockpit. The interior can be configured with four or five seats, and the main infotainment display measures 15.6 inches from corner to corner.
For the time being, the car will be available in only one specification. It features a single e-motor at the rear axle and is good for 281 PS (277 hp / 207 kW). The top speed is capped at 180 km/h (112 mph), and the minimum battery range is estimated at 600 km (373 miles). Opt for the larger of the two available battery packs, and you’ll get up to 710 km (441 miles) per the CLTC standard.
