Thomas Schäfer, CEO of Volkswagen Passenger Cars, said in an interview that the company intended to introduce 10 new electric vehicles on the international market over the following four years.
The list will include the recently announced affordable ID.2 model, as well as its Seat and Skoda clones, the production version of the ID. Aero Concept (see video), and most likely multiple SUVs as well.
The SUVs are expected to debut exclusively in North America under the revived Scout sub-brand.
