Media first learned about Alpha Motors in December 2020, when the ambitious startup firm unveiled its concept car named Ace. It has since shown us Jax and Wolf concepts, but none of them in hardware. The premiere set to take place in Los-Angeles on August 24, 2021 aims to change that.
Alpha Motors neglected to mention whether the vehicle it will be bringing to the show is a functional prototype or just a life-sized mockup without an engine. At any rate, this step should prove the company’s intentions before its investors.
What do we know about the Wolf to date? It is a single-cab electric pickup truck with meaty tires and a retrospective design inspired by trucks from the 1980s and 90s. The company estimates its battery range at 275 miles (442 kilometers) and the entry-spec price at $40,000.
