Even 35 years after launch, the Vixen 21 TD continues to amaze with how different it is from most other campervans. This white example rolled off the lines in 1987 and is currently being sold in Texas with an asking price of $24,000.
The seller claims that the car was among the last TD models produced at the factory, belonging to a limited-run series of just 376 units. A 2.4-liter turbo diesel from BMW propels it forward with 115 PS (113 hp / 85 kW) and 220 Nm (162 lb-ft) of torque through a five-speed manual transmission.
One of the more interesting features of the car comes in the form of its highly aerodynamic tapered body shape, which reduces the drag to a record-low 0.30 Cx. The ratio was phenomenal back at the time, and is still very impressive. Even today, large SUVs like the BMW X7 exhibit greater drag than this.
The motorhome comes equipped with everything needed for long journeys, including bedrooms, a fully featured kitchen, a shower cabin and a WC.
