New Rezvani Tank has ‘nothing in common’ with the old one, company says

U.S.-based armored vehicle manufacturer Rezvani has posted another series of teaser pics showing its upcoming new SUV called the Tank, just like its predecessor. The car will arrive this winter packing record amounts of engine power alongside high-end EMP protection.

Rezvani also confirmed that the new Tank would be the strongest SUV on the market. It will come powered by the 6.2-liter V8 engine of the Dodge Challenger SRT Demon. Originally rated at 850 horsepower (634 kilowatts), the engine will be boosted to produce more than 1,000+ hp (750+ kW).

The company went on to point out that the next-gen Tank would have ‘nothing in common’ with the current generation (see video). This means that we will be seeing a brand-new SUV when it premieres later this week.

The 2020 Rezvani Tank will start shipping in winter. Pre-orders are already open and require you to make a U.S. $2,500 advance payment. The final pricing isn’t here yet, but it will likely be considerably above the current model, which starts from U.S. $165,000.
