Aito’s mid-size M6 crossover sheds camo

Aito, a Chinese automaker co-founded between Huawei and Seres, has posted some official photos of its upcoming M6 SUV, showing it undisguised for the first time. The sales are expected to begin sometime in April-June 2026 with prices starting close to 250,000 Yuan, or U.S. $36,000.

There’s little to differentiate the new model from its immediate peers – the smaller M5 and the bigger M7 (see video). It features a solid, low-drag front end with a large air intake in the bottom part, a LiDAR hump on the roof, a sloping hood and a single brake light at the rear end. It measures roughly 4,850 mm (189.5 inches) long with 2,900 mm (113.3 inches) of wheelbase.

Although the interior remains to be revealed, we already know that it’s going to feature Huawei’s latest infotainment system based on a 15.6-inch display. The company also promises us numerous electronic assists, but the LiDAR mentioned above will be exclusive to the top spec.

The powertrains are a mystery this time around. On its domestic market of China, the Aito M6 will likely go on sale in hybrid and all-electric variants, but further specifics are unknown.
