Alfa Romeo rolls out Giulia and Stelvio facelift

It has been six years since Alfa Romeo introduced the Giulia sedan to the mass market. The Stelvio SUV followed a year after that, and today, both have received a mid-life refresh.

One of the main highlights on the outside comes in the form of headlights styled after those of the recently introduced Alfa Romeo Tonale, although the light patterns stay the same. The grilles at the front are all new, too.

Like the Tonale, the new Giulia and Stelvio come equipped with a 12.3-inch digital dashboard. The infotainment display stays unchanged at 8.8 inches of diagonal size, but at least the software has been updated.

Both cars can now be obtained in a new top spec called Competizione, which offers a grey exterior with red brake calipers, 21-inch wheels and lots of standard features.

On the drivetrain side of things, the old 2.1-liter TDI engine returns to the lineup once again offering its standard 160 PS (158 hp / 118 kW). The rest of the engine options stay the same.

The sales are set to begin in early 2023.
