Alfa Romeo Stelvio tries new H&R springs on

The top-of-the-line Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio is a sports car as much as it is an SUV, if not more. Packing a potent engine with 510 hp (380 kW), it can accelerate to the dizzying 283 km/h (176 mph). Nevertheless, tuners haven’t been too prolific with sport upgrades for the series – that is, until now.

Suspension manufacturer H&R has released new springs for the Stelvio family. Once installed, the front wheels sink 40 millimeters (1.6”) closer to the ground, along with the center of gravity. As a result, the car feels much more at home entering sharp turns and is more pleasant to drive overall.

The H&R springs also improve the appearance of the Alfa Romeo Stelvio, since they help the wheels ideally fit into their arches.

The upgrade costs €283/set. Optional wheel spacers are available for €106/set.
