Aston Martin’s Project Horizon strategy envisions better communication with customers, and the latest 3D car configurator that appeared on the carmaker’s website this week looks like it could go a long way towards achieving that goal.
Starting right now, buyers can save plenty of time piecing together their dream rides in dealerships, because the online process is every bit as engaging. There are plenty of exterior finishes, assorted leather and Alcantara combinations for the cabin, and all kinds of options and accessories. You can zoom in to study the components at the finest level of detail and choose a custom background, be it a studio or a real-life panoramic backdrop.
Interested clients may request an online meeting with their nearest dealers, download the brochure with all relevant details on their chosen specification, and even schedule a test drive.
The British company hopes that these measures will attract new customers to the website, although it admits that it is already bustling. One of the reasons for the increased interest in AM cars in this year’s Formula One, which features an Aston Martin Vantage as a safety car and a DBX as an ambulance. The usage statistics reports over 2,000,000 user sessions last year, and the carmaker believes the number will skyrocket this year.
Last but not least, Aston Martin has promised to keep the 3D car configurator up to date at all times.
