Meet Larkin Feroxa, a supercar with supercar pedigree

One of the Goodwood show highlights was the Feroxa speedster from UK-based startup firm Larkin. It shares the chassis and the tech with the Aston Martin Vantage and is due a 10-unit production run.

In its standard form, the car features the British automaker’s 4.3-liter naturally aspirated V8 boosted by 40 horsepower (30 kilowatts). This means it sends up to 420 PS (414 hp / 309 kW) to the wheels. Those who desire more power may opt for a V12 and get around 508 PS (500 hp / 373 kW). Both variants ship with manual transmission as standard.

What’s more interesting is that the speedster gets a full-carbon body for a curb weight no more than 1,300 kilograms (2,866 pounds). The exterior design is all-new and should offer superior aerodynamic performance compared to the original, but it is still a work in progress. The same goes for the interior, which remains to be revealed.
