97% Bentley owners choose the new Flying B hood ornament

Bentley has filmed a short video dedicated to its updated bonnet figurine called the Flying B, which it says 97 percent of its clientele specify with their purchase.

The latest design is the sixth in a long line, previewed back in 2019 with the debut of the new Flying Spur saloon. It is manufactured from a molybdenum-enhanced stainless steel and is therefore highly resistant to moisture, heat, cold, and sun radiation. For the first time on record, the piece is made retractable thanks to an electric drive and sports crystal winglets illuminating in sync with the headlamps.

The company says it takes 11 weeks to produce just one such figurine, because they are largely made by hand. Those who feel that shiny is out of fashion may opt for a gloss-black finish. All Flying Spur Mulliner cars have the ornament installed from the factory, but all other buyers have to pay extra for it. As we said above, nearly everyone does.
