Diesel-powered BMW 3-Series Touring cosplays an M3 cargo van

As we all know, people who buy utilitarian BMW estates tend to prioritize family and kids above track day fun. It’s just how it goes. Nonetheless, tuner Wade Evans from the UK reasoned that he could at least make his BMW 320d (E91) look sporty.

Evans needed a vehicle to deliver spare parts and aftermarket good for his shop. He bought a badly broken 3-Series wagon from a customer and set off to repair it to peak condition. While at it, he decided to try something original and redesign the body to resemble that of a commercial van, but with BMW M aesthetics slapped on top.

He removed the rear doors and windows and put solid panels in their place. He then installed a widebody kit onto the car that was originally intended for the BMW M3 (E92). He sourced headlight components from multiple M3 models and fabricated his own rear bumper, among other things.

The result is a diesel-powered 3-Series wagon with eye-catcher looks and a unique body style. It still relies on its stock 2.0-liter diesel four-pot, but gets a healthy 250 PS (246 hp / 187 kW) out of it thanks to an improved turbocharger and some ECU tweaks.
