BMW iX3 launch date announced

BMW has revealed the release schedule for the pioneer of its Neue Klasse lineup, the SUV-shaped iX3 EV. It will be introduced to the public at the IAA Mobility Expo in Munich, Germany in September this year.

The production will begin in late 2025, so the shipments likely won’t start until early 2026 or so. In the meantime, the iX3 is wrapping up its final pre-production tests in South Africa. It is accompanied by an electric sedan based on the same platform and tech.

By 2027, BMW plans to launch nearly four dozen new and updated vehicles with all kinds of powertrains from ICE to BEV.
