G-Power boosts the BMW M2 all the way to 700 PS

The German tuner rarely pays attention to the 2-Series, preferring to work with more upmarket BMWs, but this M2 is one of its latest works, and it’s an impressive one.

Straight from the factory, the coupe comes equipped with a 3.0-liter I6 engine rated at 480 PS (473 hp / 353 kW) and 600 Nm (443 lb-ft) of torque. Once tuned at G-Power, it reaches a lofty 700 PS (690 hp / 515 kW) and can go as high as 840 Nm (620 lb-ft). The tuning program involves installing a carbon-fiber air intake, a sports-grade exhaust system and new ECU software, just to mention some highlights.

Those who feel their M2 deserves a stylistic makeover can ask G-Power for a carbon-fiber hood featuring an active setup for hot air extraction, as well as staggered aftermarket wheels available in 20 inches for the front axle and 21 for the rear one.

Some prices are already known. The hood is the single most expensive thing at nearly €6,000, the exhaust costs €4,760, and the ECU tune-up comes in at €4,190. You may contact the tuner directly for the rest of the details.

In the short video above, G-Power shows a dyno test run of its 2022 BMW M2 CS. Back then, the company managed to squeeze 630 PS (621 hp / 463 kW) out of the powertrain – respectable, but not as astonishing as its latest effort.
