Senner’s BMW M2 CS packs supercar figures in a small package

Germany-based aftermarket firm Senner Tuning has released an all-around upgrade package for the BMW M2 CS. By hacking into the ECU of the already-capable sports car, they managed to drive its 3.0-liter inline-six engine to a lofty 710 PS (700 hp / 522 kW).

In its stock guise, the coupe is by no means underpowered with 530 PS (523 hp / 390 kW) and 650 Nm (479 lb-ft) of torque at its disposal. However, once tuned, it slams the wheels with the aforementioned 710 metric hp and develops up to 865 Nm (638 lb-ft) of torque. Remarkably, the tuner doesn’t mention any hardware upgrades aside from some carbon-fiber trims for the engine bay.

In order to keep the temperamental M2 firmly planted, it also gets KW Suspensions coilovers and control arms, as well as a set of 21-inch Wheelforce forged wheels shod in Michelin Pilot Sport 4 rubber. A carbon-fiber splitter at the front and a matching ducktail spoiler at the back serve the same purpose.

No prices have been revealed so far.
