€3.5M buys you a Bugatti Chiron with a snazzy mirror finish

A unique 2016 Bugatti Chiron known as the La Mer Argentee (‘Sea of Silver’) will go on sale in Paris, France at the end of the month expected to fetch between €2,750,000 and €3,500,000 thanks to its low mileage and only one owner on record.

The hypercar belongs to the first Chiron production batch and was one of the first three vehicles to ship. Its name refers to the exterior finish combo, which originally combined black and Silver Mirror colors. Its owner also optioned it with an exclusive radiator grille: the seller claims there are only three Chiron units in existence with such a grille.

The spec sheet mentions a plethora of other luxury options, too. The ultra-comfortable seats trimmed in bespoke leather cost another €25,000, headrest embroidery with the name of the project came in at €4,500, and red brake calipers added €3,000.

Back in 2019, the car was modified with a special upgrade package worth nearly €125,000. It included Chiron Sport suspension components, new polished wheels and carbon-fiber windshield wipers, among other things. The front end was wrapped in a faux-aluminum wrap for another €62,250.

Despite the funds invested in it, the car ended up barely used at all these eight years. It is being sold with mere 4,700 km (2,920 miles) on the odometer.
