Pandem-bodied, hastily made C5 Corvette is a nice SEMA show exhibit

The recently concluded SEMA show attracted hundreds of tuners ranging from renowned companies known worldwide to single talented enthusiasts. This fifth-gen Corvette belongs in the latter category and was built by Robb Ferguson.

The core of the transformation is an extreme JDM body kit known as the TRA Kyoto Pandem Rocketbunny. It comes with a rather fresh-looking front bumper sitting close to the ground, grotesquely widened fenders, a restyled rear bumper and a large rear spoiler. Custom-made wheels fill in the arches along with Toyo radials.

The author of the project points out that show preparations always end up taking longer than planned. The vinyl wrap you can see on a couple of images in the gallery below was applied on the night before the opening of the SEMA, and Ferguson admits he had others helping him make it in time.

So, was the rush worth it from your point of view?
