Dodge Challenger Demon puts its best carbon fiber suit on

SpeedKore Performance Group created quite some ripples two years ago when it released a 1,525-HP Dodge Charger and a 1,400-HP Dodge ‘Lucifer’ Demon. The car you see here may not be every bit as insane as the Lucifer, but it has a body bathed in carbon fiber.

The overall styling is surprisingly reserved by SpeedKore standards. There is a new hood cover, a front splitter, side sills, an elaborate rear end add-on, and a rear spoiler. The paint scheme is called SpeedKore PPG Big Machine Red, with black accents running down the sides.

The arches now house HRE C105 wheels sized 20x11 inches with Pirelli P Zero Corsa tires. Inside, there are bucket seats and a massive roll cage that spans as the front suspension struts. Sure, getting in and out of the car may seem problematic now, but in a wild ride like this, staying alive just might be a priority.

Rounding things off is an engine boost program centered around a high-end Whipple supercharger. The actual wheel horsepower count comes close to 1,000 HP, which roughly corresponds to 1,200 HP at the crank. We don’t have any sprint times to report, but since this particular Demon is 120 kg (265 lbs) lighter than stock, it should have plenty of acceleration.
